Also, if you pay attention to when Miles gets transported to E-42, the colour scheme behind him is a neon green and once he enters "his room" it's highlighted in shades of purple and green like in the entire apartment. The clothes his puts on are also green, signalling that this world is very much not his, and is in fact the world without Spider-Man, but instead the Prowler.
Remember that moment in ITSV, when Miles first meets his world's Spider-Man and their spider senses do the thing?
The background behind Peter is as we'd expect; the classic red and blue.
But at first Miles' background is green and purple, two colors he's never associated with at all throughout the movie. As the moment goes on, it shifts to match Peter's.
We are literally watching Miles' fate change and the anomaly happen.
It's well established that the spider that bit him was not supposed to even be in that universe, meaning our Miles was supposed to be something else before it happened.
This isn't true for ITSV, but in every other version of Spider-Man, the main color scheme for the Prowler is green and purple.
Our Miles was supposed to become the next Prowler in his world. And the only reason he's not, is because of the original Prowler. Miles switched his fate with Earth-42 Miles.

I can't tell if this is a good idea or not, but is anyone interested in writing a Miles Morales from Earth 42 (Prowler Miles) x Female or Gender-Neutral reader fanfic? Where the reader is like an alternate version of The Spot, as in they have pretty much the exact same personality and abilities as The Spot, except they're a teenager, a bit of a goody-two-shoes, spacy, and instead of trying to be a villain, they try to help people and try to (awkwardly and clumsily) stop The Prowler. Imagine their interactions are like the scene where Miles meets The Spot, except Miles is the one robbing the place. (I know that sounds weird).
And they eventually end up liking each other.
The reader keeps their original body shape/figure, and height but besides that, they pretty much look like The Spot. And instead of being a scientist who worked at Alchemex (I hope I spelled that right) they were just a normal teen?
Maybe they went on a field trip to Alchemax and got distracted and somehow accidentally got stuck in, or wandered into, the Collider, turning them into The Spot?
Sorry if this is a bad idea, or if anything I said was too specific or confusing. This is my first time posting something on Tumblr, so I'm also sorry if this was kind of awkward to read. But would anyone be interested in writing something like this? Or would anyone else be interested in reading something like this?

no gwen wouldn't be stepping out by existing as spider-man same with pavitr, jessica, and miguel. it's not that miles exist as spider-man instead of peter it's that he shouldn't be spider-man in the first place because he changed canon events like the spider that bite him was from another like universe it was meant for an entirely different miles him becoming spider-man is an anomaly because he was never supposed to be bitten

when miles first interacts with miguel he mentions he has some “new/fresh ideas on how to capture spot”*
*i’m paraphrasing here but yk that line was said
miguel replies by shutting down that conversation and saying “i’ll worry about spot” AND THEN PROCEEDS TO CHASE DOWN A 15YO CHILD ON ALL FOURS, LOSE A FIGHT TO HIM AND MONITOR HIS DAD TO MAKE SURE HE DIES AND MILES DOESN’T INTERFERE !!!
