Had no real art focus today, nothing much going on right now, so I have been drawing some random little guys. 12th July, 2023
Here is March's design for the Gremlin's Penpal tier of my Ko-Fi! It's the gremlin as a mischievous little leprechaun with her pot of gold. 🤑 You can get this design by signing up to the tier anytime during the month of March! Hi I’ve completely given up on Instagram and Twitter, so now I have returned to the hellsite. I’ve missed you, tumblr. I never really understood how to use you in the 2010s, but maybe I’m less stupid now, so let’s give it a try.
Also does this look better with or without lines? I think with but that might just be because adding the lines took me like half a goddamn hour extra and I don’t want to have wasted my time.

Update on the Deadpool/Poolverine stickers!! It looks like the people prefer matte, so the first batch of stickers at least will be matte!!
If everything goes smoothly I should have my Etsy shop up with these listed by mid-Feb at the latest :DD never done this before so I’m not sure though ;-;

I feel like Wade deserves to be all shiny and glossy but I also kinda prefer the texture of matte? So instead of going through the pain of making a Decision I’ll get other people to do it for me :)

Only wish printers could print in bright RGB neon though :( this is the duller CMYK version and I don’t like it as much. I might post the RGB version but the colours are so eyestrainy because I was trying to get them as bright as possible haha

Metasepia Pfefferi, aka the flamboyant cuttlefish! These little guys have a much smaller cuttlebone relative to their body size (compared to other cuttlefish species), and therefore cannot swim for very long. For this reason, they can often be found walking around on the sea floor using their lower arms.

I wanted to print the stickers on my mother's colour printer, but the colours and the black were slightly offset so I used my uni's printer service.
Applying the vinyl was tricky (messed up a few times), but once I learned the tricks it went by pretty smoothly. I did half of the vinyl application in the makerspace, and the other half at home on the 3rd.
I also wanted to use the makerspace's silhouette cutter thing to cut out the stickers, but I didn't know you had to run the paper through that machine before printing out the sticker design for it to work. Thus began the saga of cutting them out by hand.
Cutting it wasn't tooooo bad. It was just monotonous work so I could talk w people/watch something while doing it (watched Terrifier with my family while cutting most of them which worked because I don't really looking at pure gore). It did make my hand hurt like a bitch after a while, though.
I only ended up cutting like half of them anyways. My plan was to cut them by demand if needed during the artist alley.
There were quite a few defects by the end (mainly because of the vinyl, but there was a printing error for one of the sheets), and I ended up putting those stickers on my waterbottle. Me and my friend also tested their waterproof-ability by scrubbing at said stickers on my waterbottle with a soapy sponge. Needless to say the vinyl works really well!!

I started this wayyy before (around the alastor one), but I had problems with it for a while so I just left it alone until I practically finished it in one day. Ig something just clicked cos I didn't really change much, other than redo what little progress i'd made on the lineart

Redraw of the zagreus sticker I made previously.
I really liked making this one, and I like the way it turned out (actually looks like zag 😱😱😱🗣️). The Hades style is so fun and cool (it in of itself is inspired by mike mignola, among other influences, so ofc I love it).
Used ibispaint's hard japanese brush, which was really nice to use. I like the different line width variation you can get with it.
