I really hate the Marvel Superfamily trope for a number of reasons, mostly centering on the infantilization of Peter Parker and the erasure of his actual family in favor of Steve and Tony which makes me sick, I actually like that pairing but just give them their own kid, Peter’s characters is so OOC in all those stories anyway, just go all the way and make an actual OC.
But whatever, right now the thing that pisses me off the most about Marvel Superfamily is that they’ve stolen the term “Superfamily” from Superman and his actual family. How am I supposed to look up content about Chris, Conner, Jon, Kara and various related family members if Superfamily isn’t about the actual Superman Family?
Bruce: Why pouting?

Bruce: I had plenty of kids. You need to be more specific.
Clark: You had a kid of your own, and you didn't tell me.
Bruce: Are you making differences between bio kids and adopted kids? 'Cause I have some big news for you, alien boy.

Clark: Are you telling me you just happened to get Talia al Ghul pregnant?
Bruce: You knocked up Lois!
Clark: We were engaged? She's not my arch-enemy?? I didn't keep it from you???
Bruce: Hey, cut me some slacks! I was a bit shocked! I mean, how would you react if you found out to have a secret child with Lex Luthor?!
Clark: *nervous laugh*
Bruce: ???
Clark: What an odd choice of words...

Okay so in the batfamily fandom all of the main members of the batfam have a superfamily friend/significant other except for dick/nightwing BUT THERE'S AN UNDERRATED SUPERFAMILY CHARACTER WHO COULD BE DICKS SUPER PERSON
Mon el is from the pre 52 universe he is from the planet daxam and has the same powers as a kryptonian he has been in the telivision show supergirl he is around dicks age and is a good friend of Clark
