Earlier today I stumbled upon a website called Rapey.co. This website is one of (many) forum websites which focuses on REAL people normalizing pedophilia, rape, incest and even murder. They share VERY disturbing stories about children (sometimes even their own) and the fantasies or plans they wish to carry out which involve the rape and murder of women and children. Some of these are accounts asking for advice as to how to rape, how to murder, how to seduce children. If you take a look at my friends Facebook post ( https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=1471682506554480&id=100011382334335 ) or at the horrific website itself (trigger warning) there are many disturbing screenshots and posts to read from. You can see it is not hidden, it is in plain sight. This is not found on the dark or deep web.. it is accessible through ANY BROWSER. Imagine being so confident and comfortable with such evil and horrific crimes that you are able to open up an entire website about it? This is because even THEY know nothing is going to be done about it, so there is no need to hide it.
I am ashamed to live in a society where things like this can so easily be posted and encouraged on the internet and the amount of people who witness it and do nothing about it. We live in a society that is trying to justify and normalize rape and pedophilia, and this is UNACCEPTABLE.
The children talked about by adults in these forums are at great danger. One man said he is trying to seduce his own daughter, and if that doesn't work he'd force himself on to her. Although it's extremely disturbing and triggering to read, IT NEEDS TO COME TO LIGHT, SO IT CAN COME TO AN END. Sorry to anyone who reads this ask, I will have it tagged. First of all I don't read fics like that, but is it of a FICTIONAL character? Then there is no issue. I'm extremely uncomfortable at the idea of a toddler aged character in a situation like that but I won't harass someone or say it shouldn't exist if it is STRICTLY FICTION. Also I think you lot forget that fictional characters don't look like, and sometimes, don't act like, real people. They are drawn in proportions that would look arguably horrifying if directly translated to real life. They aren't real, nor are they breathing or capable of feeling real pain. They are, essentially, the pixelated equivalent of dolls. Any fictional character can be put into any situation at any age, anytime, anywhere, and it would not cause harm to a real person because that character does not exist. You have to be able to learn to distinguish a real person from a fictional character, they are not comparable to each other. Also, get help right? Whether you believe it or not darkshipping is approved by a lot of therapists as a healthy coping mechanism. If your therapist tells you it isn't good for you to do/utilize, it's because they recognize that those fictional concepts cause you some form of discomfort. They will form their therapy plans around YOUR needs, so everyone will have different coping mechanisms. It not being the best outlet for you doesn't mean it isn't a good outlet for someone else. Alternatively, darkshipping doesn't need to be confined to "it's only acceptable if its for coping", it's fine to like dark content in general. If it wasn't fine, you guys wouldn't freely enjoy horror movies or video games like GTA. Pedro López aka “Monster of the Andes”
Pedro Alonso López, more commonly known as the Monster of Andes, was born 8th October the seventh of thirteen child of Benilda López De Casteneda in Colombia 1948. He commonly caught his mum committing acts of prostitution and this would lead his mother finding him fondling his younger sister’s breast in ‘57 when he was eight. As a result he was kicked out of the house. The supposedly a polite boy who wanted to be a teacher (according to his mother), ran away to Bogotá, Colombia. He then said he had been kidnapped and raped. He was later taken in, aged 12, by a US immigrant family and enrolled in a school for orphans. He ran away again after two years either with a teacher or because he was being molested by a teacher.
He was a serial killer and child rapist who murdered a minimum of 110 young girls from the year 1969 to 1980 but claims to have murdered over 300 across Colombia, Peru and Ecuador. The monster of Andes claimed that during his imprisonment for car theft, he was brutally gang raped and then, still incarcerated he hunted down and killed the most brutal of his rapists. When he was released he moved to Peru and started murdering young girls. He claimed that by ‘78 he had killed over 100 girls before he was caught and captured by an indigenous tribe. They were about to execute him, before a missionary from the US persuaded them to hand him over to the state police, after which he was quickly released.
López claimed he returned to Colombia and the moved to Ecuador, during which, he claimed he had killed about three girls a week. He stated: “I like the girls in Ecuador; they are more gentle and trusting. More innocent.”
The nonce was arrested when an attempted kidnapping failed and he was trapped by market traders. The Associated Press (AP) reported his arrest to been in march 1980 and that he had boasted about killing anywhere from 200 to 369 young girls. According to CNN, López “Was arrested in 1980 but was freed by the government in Ecuador at the end of [1998]”. During an interview from his prison cell, the pedophile described himself as “the man of the century” (obviously disregarding his rapes and murders of young girls) and said he was being released for “good behaviour”. An A&E biographical documentary reported that he was released from an Ecuadorian prison on 31/8/199, then rearrested as an illegal immigrant and tossed him to the Colombian authorities, who pinned a 20-year-old murder on him. He was declared insane and held in the psychiatric wing of everyone’s favourite Bogotá hospital. In 1998, he was declared sane and released on a $50 bail, subject to conditions. He later absconded. The earlier documentary says that Interpol released an advisory for his rearrest by Colombian authorities over a fresh murder in 2002, he is currently wanted and whereabouts are unknown.
Aside from uncited local accounts, López’s crimes first received international attention from an interview with Ron Laytner, a longtime freelance photojournalist in his Ambato prison cell in 1992. According to Laytner’s story, López got his nickname Monster of the Andes in ‘80, when he purposely led the police to the graves of 53 girls between the ages 9 to 12 in Ecuador.

Don't worry at all! I'm glad someone asked so I could explain it a bit more.
To answer your question, no, I'm not okay with it.
I don't get off on any of it nor other similar themes and neither should anyone else. Preying on children of any age is strictly against my moral code and, again, anyone who feels that way should get some professional help.
However, I am a person who also firmly follows canon unless it's absolutely necessary for the fanfic. I'm pretty sure there are more writers/readers who have that mindset too.
That said, I put pedophilia in 'might consider writing' because I realise some people might simply want pure canon, even if it comes to age.
I will decline any requests involving pedophilia if I deem them too triggering or realistic but I am still willing to consider because of people like me, who want to have as many accurate details as possible.
That tag will also be considered only for the Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon fandoms which I'm pretty sure are the only two which have canonical pedophilia.
I'm not sure how much you know about those but, sadly, it was normal for people to marry/be intimate before the age of 18 during that time period. That is, in my opinion, pedophilia either way.
That's why that's the only exception, which will mostly come in the form of mentions rather than actual actions anyway. Any request like that for other fandoms will be deleted immediately because it's just sick, honestly.
To put it simply, I'm just willing to write canonically accurate fics, even if they consider such horrific themes in the original work. However, I don't want anyone to get off on that type of stuff.
Honestly, If I ever write about it in the first place, I might write about pedophilia to raise awareness when it comes to child abuse, especially sexual abuse.

What this person has said is quite disgusting and bigoted. As another transgender minor, I am VERY disappointed in shizzy's actions. It's heartbreaking to see another wonderful artist turn out to be a shitty ass person. the fact that Nadakhan (after seizing Jay’s wrist) went for Jay’s WAIST next is concerning to me. it was such an immediate reaction, no hesitation whatsoever. he just grabbed him. Nadakhan always vandalizes ANY CHARACTER’S personal space, but this grab felt so violent. and the way that Jay has almost no reaction to it..? that’s also deeply concerning..

I always hated Nadakhan with all of my heart as a kid, even if some of the things he did kinda went over my head, I always thought he was weird and creepy. he is different from the other villains, and his actions 100% show that he’s a CREEP. (COUGHS the scene where he goes to kiss Nya.. the literal teenager.. so lucky that scene cut off) I’m obviously not a parent so idk if I should rlly have a say on if it was a good idea to tackle this in a “kids show” or not. But hey, at least they depicted him and his actions as evil and disgusting (because they are).
Rewatching Skybound a few weeks back had me absolutely BAFFLED and SHOCKED at how much I truly missed as a kid about Nadakhan and his vile actions. It’s a VERY different experience watching Skybound and being mature and aware of things like that, especially as someone who has had some experiences with manipulation and grooming… Nadakhan shows all the signs- there’s no doubt in my mind that any scene portraying things he did (or possible things he could’ve done) were on purpose to represent that. I mean.. how come Cole found Jay in NADAKHAN’S room when he was rescued..? Why wasn’t Jay in his cell..??? (I got an icky feeling when I rewatched that scene.)
I genuinely think Skybound as a whole just has an underlying theme of pedophilia, grooming, manipulation, and sa. Yes sa too. Anyone want to remember the scene where Zane got pinned down by Mechanic and had his shirt unbuttoned?? Yeah, cause that was ALSO in Skybound. there’s a video on YouTube that points out many times where Nadakhan acted like that and shows the scenes of evidence to this. Teenagers are rarely taught the reason why they can't consent to sex with adults.
And that's because teaching them that would completely unravel our coercion-based society.
It can be difficult to explain in detail the exact reason and all the specifics in a way that they will understand. But the simplest way to phrase it is that in some cases, even when someone agrees to something and even when they appear enthusiastic about it, there's too much of a power imbalance that it's no different than forcing them. Also, having power and being abusive doesn't require a conscious expectation to be obeyed.
Imagine a world in which every teenager understood that and was easily able to call out anyone who tried to convince them otherwise.
They'd know that there's no such thing as an employee consenting to working for a poverty wage, working in unsafe conditions, working long hours, or working without taking breaks. They'd know that there's no such thing as consenting to paying a bank overdraft fee. They'd know that there's no such thing as consenting to student loan debt. They'd know that there's no such thing as consenting to medical bills. They'd know that there's no such thing as consenting to generating profit for banks or landlords in order to have a place to live and being evicted or foreclosed when you lose your source of income. They'd know that there's no such thing as consenting to a police search. They'd know that there's no such thing as a child who's okay with their parents spanking them. They'd know that being dependent on someone does not mean that you can never criticize them. They'd know that if it's considered abusive to simply play along when someone obeys, then it has to be much more abusive to actively expect to be obeyed, which many adults do to them.
And people who benefit from a society based on coercion masquerading as freedom wouldn't like that.
So instead, teenagers are taught something dismissive. They're taught that what they want doesn't matter. They're taught that they're too young to know what love is. They're taught "it's the law". They're taught things that are insulting to their intelligence, which they'll naturally rebel against.
