LETS TRY THIS AGAIN SINCE TUMBLR FUCKING CLOSED LAST TIME.
(You won’t believe this shit. I was one sentence away from finishing my yap session and tumblr closed my post and said it saved as a draft. I check my drafts AND ITS NOT THERE. Might cry anyways haha spoilers for genshin and Naruto) (also if it’s chopped, just know that it was way better before this site decided to curb stomp my creativity)
Arlecchino: Uchiha Clan
Orphaned young enough to not remember her parents, passed around the Uchiha clan for care taking until she became a genin (at like 6 idk I mean in game she was raised by fatui and fought a literal harbinger at 14ish)
Clervie was her classmate in the academy and stuck to her side even outside the academy. Arlecchino quickly outgrew her genin team she was assigned to and made chunin at 7. Things continue like this until she’s made jonin at 12.
(Crucabena/“Mother” worked at the Konoha orphanage and Clervie lived there as well. Arlecchino basically got the ick from Crucabena)
A little after she made jonin, she was offered (more like coerced and forced into) a position in root by Danzo. Spent like 2 years in root as “rabbit” and was like “hey wtf man” at root in her head but didn’t have the courage to leave until kakashi came in and basically took tenzo from root.
Arlecchino now starts planning to leave root and the only person she trusts is Clervie. She goes to Clervie explaining her plan (as much of it she can bc of Danzos mouth seals) and Clervie suddenly attacks her. Clervie says that Crucabena and therefore she herself are plants for Danzo, watching over arlecchino since shes a very young but very talented Uchiha. They continue to fight but Clervie throws her self at arlecchinos blade, saying that this will give her enough strength to leave root.
Arlecchino then activates her mangekyo for the first time (which yes is her ingame eyes) and goes to fight and kill Crucabena and take a few very young root kids with her and leaves Konoha.
Arlecchino is a S ranked missing nin and will work with Konoha and foreign shinobi in exchange that they don’t try to capture her. She now basically takes up lost children and holds the name “Father”.
Her eyes are Amaterasu and kamui/tsukuyomi (honestly couldn’t decide which since they both kinda fit with her lore but she does 100% have Amaterasu) and her susanoo is a darker pinker red than itachis susanoo in the anime
Is it me or does Madara‘s Susanoo kinda have an hourglass?

the curse of love
Sneak peak of Sasuke wip
I'm sacrificing my own back for the sake of his back looking flawless
Obsessed with critical thinking 😔❤️.
To me the most unrealistic thing in Naruto is that there aren't more rouge Uchiha's as side characters (not counting Obito, Sasuke, Madara and Itachi because I'm taking about non big villain kind of way rouge). Like they were mistreated by village, but obviously unhappy about it and powerful. There should have been way more of them running around.
🙏the gospel (not in vain😭😭)
Curse of Hatred has to be the biggest bullshit in all of Naruto and I understand how more then half the fandom takes it as truth. Tobirama tells us how Uchiha's feel strong emotions. Strong love and strong hatred when they lose somone they love. In other words they grief unlike most of Shinobi, who just bury it deep inside as we've seen. The Curse of Hatred is the same thing people used as to why women deserved less and weren't welcomed in politics. Because apperntly they were hysterical, unlike logical and rational men. Same went for Uchiha. Konoha used curse of hatred as excuse to not trust Uchiha and keep them out of politics. Because they were too irrational and their emotions would cloud their decisions and judgment.
And fandom took that to heart instead of seeing it as prejudiced propaganda. Madara and Sasuke are prime victims of this in fandom. Their ships are all literally "insert character" saving them from themselves and bringing them to good side (said good side supports having child soldiers). SNS and HashiMada/MadaHashi are literally the same thing as man saving women from themselves because their choices are "irrational". I've heard it thousands of times how Naruto "saved" Sasuke from his dark side. As if Sasuke didn't have evrey right to be mad at Konoha. Same goes with Hashirama "saving" Madara. It's always how they saved them from Curse of Hatred.
Or how SasuSaku fans use Curse of Hatred as reason Sasuke rejected Sakura. While after it was "broken" he suddenly realized his feelings for her.
The whole Curse of Hatred is just an excuse for how Uchiha's were treated. Just as whole women are too emotional statement was used as an excuse to not give women equal rights as men. Uchiha's weren't irrational, hysterical or too emotional. But if standard for love was "If anyone dares try and disturb that harmony. Whether it's my own offspring, family, or someone I consider brother I won't hesitate to strike them down" Hashirama, then Uchiha's do seem hysterical.
In conclusion, Curse of Hatred is bullshit and if we had major female Uchiha character we'd agree it sounds like sexism. It's just that Curse of Hatred wasn't used for sexism, but racism so they can keep Uchiha's away from powerful positions.

☕️Song: Curse by Xxxtentacion
I was thinking why is that so, why Uchihas go blind while Hyuga feel no side effects from using byakugan? (Aside of that fact that Kishimoto loves Uchiha clan, so they expirience the most angst and suffer)
And I have had one semi-biological conclusion.
So, some of you may be familiar with the theory that people have a lot of diseases that develop with age or appear in old age because that's how evolution and natural selection work. In other words, most people manage to pass on their genes to the next generation (that is, become evolutionarily successful) before they get diseases that most often appear at a certain age. Evolution filters out those mutations that are incompatible with reproduction, because it is through reproduction that all living things fix useful traits and pass them on. Accordingly, evolution has almost no effect (or it happens by chance) on traits that do not prevent a person from successfully surviving to pass on their genes to their children. If an individual lived to have children, it is already a biologically successful individual. Then you can die. Evolution is cruel and unempathetic.
I looked at the sharingan from this side. From the evolutionary side. Sharingan as a biological trait should take a very long time to form, mutate and change in the process of evolution. He would improve due to the fact that the Uchiha with the stronger sharingan would successfully survive and reproduce. But at the same time, evolution would no longer affect what would happen to the Uchiha's eyes after they would produce offspring at a young age. Since the genes have already been passed down, the next generation will have the same trait as the parents. Regardless of what happens next with the parents. So since blindness was not a trait that would have prevented the Uchiha from living to reproductive age, it was not weeded out by evolution in any way. In conclusion, we have a biological trait that was evolutionarily strengthened and developed, because the ability of the Uchiha to survive depended on the power of the sharingan. Uchiha with a weak sharingan died before they could have children. But the gradual loss of vision did not interfere with the clan's survival, so it was not evolutionary screened out. In this way, the sharingan was formed, which is an incredibly useful and powerful trait, but at the same time, evolution did not affect the subsequent loss of vision. Blindness isn't biologically disabling, so the Uchiha's DNA doesn't have to mutate to compensate for it. Uchih's eye blindness is just a biological process, a consequence of the fact that there was no evolutionary stimulus in their eyes to compensate for it. The Uchiha with the strongest sharingan became reproductively successful, but subsequent vision problems did not affect this. Evolutionarily, there was no need for the sharingan to find a middle ground between power and not straining the eyes and going blind as a result. Evolutionarily, their eyes improved the power of the Sharingan, but did not improve endurance. Therefore, the Sharingan is an incredibly powerful force, but there is no mechanism to overcome the consequences of using it.
Anyone else wonder why Tobirama would try to make a jutsu like Edo Tensei in the first place? Cause my brain immediately thought about how Tobirama killed Madara's younger brother Izuna which caused that whole fight before the Senju and Uchiha decided to make peace and was like, "What if he was trying to find a way to resurrect Izuna so Madara would have no reason to attack them again and things could be even?"
I love your blog about madara 😭♥️, you could write about madara being a dad🧑🍼 i love imagining him being a dad😭🤰♥️
Thank you for the kind words! I love thinking about Madara as a dad too! He is so husband and dad-shaped. That’s why I waited so long to answer this ask, even though it’s one of my first ones! Because I love this ask and wanted to do it justice. I can only see Madara as a father in an AU where Konoha is actually democratic and fair towards the Uchiha. Since you didn’t specify what stage of life the child is in, I’m gonna write about how Madara might be throughout his child’s life. Warning: fluff ahead!
During pregnancy- Madara is going to be extremely protective and gentle with you. If you ever thought he was overboard before you were pregnant, he’s just extra now when you’re more vulnerable than ever. Even if he knows you’re a capable shinobi (or civilian), he won’t let any risk come to you and wants you to have the most relaxing pregnancy ever. He doesn’t even let you step on a chair to reach the higher cabinets! Sheesh. He’ll rub your swollen feet and take on more chores. When you worry about the possibility of your baby not developing into a model shinobi as expected of an Uchiha child, he scoffs at you. “We will love and raise our child no matter what. Do you think we burn our children just because they aren’t strong ninja?” He hates the idea of children as mere fodder or pawns in war. This is his precious baby for goodness sake!
Madara will often be by your side, to protect you, but also to spend time with you. He wants nothing more than for you to be happy and feel how much he loves you and the baby during these precious months. There is no way Madara will ever let you feel self-conscious about your appearance. To him, you’re more beautiful than ever (not only because he has a breeding kink, people. He actually finds your pregnant body stunning). He builds the baby’s crib and nursery with his own hands during this time.
Newborn- Madara is crazy protective. His baby is so tiny, fragile, and perfect. He’s terrified of hurting the newborn at first, but gets the hang of handling his baby very quickly. Madara is overjoyed from the birth of the Uchiha and proud of you for gifting him the greatest blessing of his life. Too much had gone wrong in his life and having both his child and wife emerge from the birth healthy seems unreal to him. He’s kind of obsessed with staring at his child and soaking in the cute baby sounds they make. He silently vows to do good by the child and protect them no matter what. You may think this traditional man might leave a lot of the child-rearing to the mom, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Madara is very involved with the care of the baby. It’s not like his desire for you to feel happy, loved, and cared for faltered since the birth. Of course he’ll help, especially knowing how tired you can be. He has to admit a newborn’s care requirements are quite demanding, and even more daunting than many missions.
Toddler- At this tender innocent age, when the child is more interactive, but still dependent on their parents, Madara melts with his child. We know Madara loves children, but also that they’re usually terrified of him. For one to not only be unafraid of him, but seek his company and even touch him? It’s enough to make him soft in the head.
Madara is protective (see a theme?) because he knows his young child has no means of defending themselves. It hurts, but he knows the shinobi world is harsh and strength is the only way for anyone to survive. He begins teaching his child basic skills like walking on water, perhaps through games. No techniques to fight yet. He wants to spare his child the harsh training he and his brothers endured from a horribly young age for even a few more years.
His child’s babbling speech is so endearing, but he isn’t the type to baby-talk. You make fun of him for talking like an old man to the child, but it’s what Madara does. Madara lets his child climb all over him, curl up in his lap, and reads to them while they play with his hair. He isn’t even upset when they yank. He just sits there to soak up the childish chattering and laughter. Expect this child to have exceptionally sophisticated speech patterns in the future!
Childhood- It’s time for proper ninja training. Madara will begin the long journey of passing everything he knows about battle onto his progeny. He’s a fair, but firm teacher and he isn’t cruel in his lessons. Battle tactics, basic jutsu, taijutsu, and weapon handling are in the books. His child is still very young and may not understand limits. Children can be harsh to each other and it’s Madara, a clan head who doesn’t enjoy beating up on the weak, who teaches his child compassion and the responsibility the strong have to protect those who depend on them. It’s a loving household they grow up in. Raised by you and Madara, the child grows into a strong, empathetic individual. Madara will feel like a failure if his child develops the Sharingan at any point in their life, even if he knew it was likely to happen.
Teenager- God help Madara and his kid. He raised them to be strong individuals, never expecting it to come back and bite him in the ass. They talk back using the same logic and sharp Uchiha roasts he instilled into them. It’s during these years his teenager pushes his boundaries to see how far they can go and they gain some independence through ninja missions, so Madara can’t keep as close an eye as he wants. He makes sure there are responsible adults watching over his child on missions, even if he can’t be there himself. He always worries about his child when they’re outside of the village, though he knows they are very powerful for their age.
Like other teens, his delinquent child can be dismissive of risk and hot-headed. It’s likely his child runs into a few of Madara’s many enemies at some point who try to leverage them against him. Regardless, Daddy probably showed up to save the day a few times when his child made reckless battle choices or bad decisions to rebel against his rules, decisions that could have costed them their life. Daddy Madara then dragged his child home to talk (and sometimes smack) some sense into them. He may be angry, but Madara was honestly scared stiff about losing his child.
If he has a daughter and she begins showing signs of interest in boys, Madara will seriously consider murder. Forget about the responsibility of protecting those who are weaker. “She will never date anyone,” he concluded, chakra flaring dangerously with distaste at the thought of any dirty boy who dared touch his baby girl.
Adulthood- Madara will remain a steadfast pillar of support and wisdom throughout his child’s life. He will always be the model his child looks up to. Madara is pretty easygoing, and would love nothing more than to spend carefree time together doing anything with you and your adult child. He cherishes every moment, knowing that shinobi can die at any time and it’s almost a miracle that his small family has survived until adulthood.
He will always love and support his baby. It doesn’t matter what painful situations and decisions being a shinobi will force his child into making, Madara will love them unconditionally no matter what, even if they ever end up on different sides of a conflict. That is what being family means.
Izuna is most likely one of the most mysterious character in the Narutoverse. He's truly a ghost. Barely seen but so important to Madara's storyline and his eyes the most powerful sight of the entire series. Regardless, all we know about his personality in the canon can be resumed in few sentences : He admired his brother as a child, he was also a fierce warrior from early age, he warned his brother against the Senju, and before his death willingly offered his eyes to Madara in order to protect the Uchihas. It's quite thin for a character development...
In the fandom, fanart, and the many fanfictions included, the general consensus is to represent Izuna as a soft and gentle character always devoted to his brother. Sometimes he's the victim of a hungry-power Madara (but that's really old stories back when no one knew that Obito was cosplaying Madara), often sassy and effeminate. A bit like Haku who was entirely in service of Zabuza. I suppose this idea comes from the adjectives that describes Izuna in the databook :
Considering the lack of information in canon, that headcanon starts to become the more popular. My ambitious is to try to discover what was Kishimoto's intentions for Izuna if he had more time to articulate that character. It's just an hypothesis that I present you, it's in no way a definite answer.
I) Intuition
That's nothing I can prove but it always seems to me strange that Izuna was the quiet one in this sibling's dynamic. If you put yourself in his shoes opened-toes sandals, he is Madara Uchiha's little brother. From birth, his brother was seen with special attention. Madara was the oldest, the heir and on top of that the genius one. Butsuma said that as a child he was able to kill adults. Being the second is virtually being invisible in front of other adults, it would have naturally created jealousy and a need to exist outside of the big brother's shadow. We've seen this same dynamic before between Sasuke and Itachi. The little one feels always left out. The difference there, is that Itachi was mostly absent in Sasuke's life, he was always busy with school and missions. And after the Uchiha's downfall, when Sasuke was just 7 years old, the distance between them wider dreadfully. For the majority of Sasuke's life, Itachi was a distant childhood memory. In contrary, Izuna seems to have stayed close to his brother until his death at 24 years old. They enjoy a childhood together and were so close than even adults they were able to take over the Uchiha clan. Because they spend more than 20 years together, sharing happiness and losses, there is for me an implicit idea that Izuna was balancing Madara and vice versa. In the same way, Hashirama's visionnary ideas are counter-balanced by a down-to-earth Tobirama. The Senju carves his unique personality by constantly creating new jutsus that surprised his opponents while Hashirama was known for being that rare and powerful Mokuton user. Madara being this taciturn person in public, Izuna must have been a bit more outgoing. So if Madara was in private described as kind by Hashirama, maybe Izuna was more rational when dealing with people.
II) Canon + extra materials
in extra materials I mean : databook, official card, official illustrations, video games ect...
Even if I'm team canon-only, sometimes other fillers or goodies can give us a hint of what would have been Izuna. And two things catch my attention :
first, he's always represented as someone very confident, holding a sword ready to slay someone, focused. Actually...he NEVER SMILES. He smirks once in a filler when he thought he was about to overpower Tobirama. It shows more his merciless attitude towards his enemy than any trace of softness. We are very far from the flower boy from fanarts.
secondly his voice...Have you heard his adult voice? It's surprisingly deep comparing to his slender appearance. Again it doesn't sound like a fragile baby doll but more like a commander in chief.
III) Izuna vs Obito
It took me a long time to realise how much Izuna is in the canon constantly in parallel with Obito. It goes back to my old post on "why Madara chose Obito". Months later, I think the answer is more obvious that what I thought back then.
Izuna simply might have had a very similar personality than Obito. Or should I say, Madara saw in Obito, not only his potential strength but also a clear resemblance in character to his dear brother. At the Kannabi's bridge, He observed and found Obito dying after he saved Kakashi, Rin and gave his right eye to Kakashi. There is a strong parallel to Izuna's life who also gave his eyes willingly to Madara when he was dying. In both case, there is a deep devotion for the well being of their friends/clansmen.
Even if Madara consciously chose to cut bonds with the world, unconsciously he still yearned for companionship. It's obvious by the fact he couldn't stop talking about his friend Hashirama, and in the similar way he looked for his "right hand" in Obito. Yes, in a deranged and manipulative way but even during the war, he never doubted Obito's intentions until it was obvious that he betrayed him.
So not only Obito was a replacement for Izuna as a brother in arm, but the databook gives them the same birthday the 10th of february, obviously the same zodiac sign Aquarius and most importantly the same blood type.
IV) Blood type
Izuna and Obito are said to be the same blood type O. Madara also is type O. As a westerner I've never paid attention to this information (I don't even know my own blood type to be honest!😅) until I've learned recently that Japaneses have got a whole culture associating blood type with certain personality traits. They take this more seriously that astrology to the point there is even campaigns to prevent discrimination towards rare types. Since I don't know much about this theory, let me quote some other sources.
So what is type O?
source : https://www.tofugu.com/japan/japanese-blood-type/
This source goes deeper into type O in Naruto.
source : https://aminoapps.com/c/naruto/page/blog/blood-types-personality-theory-in-naruto/lrqm_VpiQuDpPEDjoMXgoMVnn0E3eeXmpw
I don't really know how to interpret the type O because the adjectives seems very larges and vagues to me. but it seems that leadership trait, hard working, outgoing, protective, direct, confident are the trait that comes the most from the various sources I've read. In Naruto, the others type O are : Kakashi, Asuma, Sakura, Temari, Raikage, Neji.
An other interesting aspect, is relationship between each types. Look closely at OxO relationship.
Let's go back now to compare now Izuna and Obito's databook pages with this new information in mind.
Notice again how Izuna is systematically showed in action, fighting someone or ready to attack. That's not really a moment where he looks relaxed with an easy-going attitude.
Izuna's favourite hobby was training with his brother Madara. Because of their closeness as brothers they developed an healthy competition. A good OxO relationship.
In the opposite, considering the circumstance of their meeting, Obito never truly trusted Madara and even when he agreed on the Tsukuyomi plan, he decided early on that he'll do it his own way and almost overtook Madara's role as the "saviour". It shows a negative OxO relationship.
In this perceptive, it seems to me that Izuna and Obito share in common of being extremely strong-willed and competitive. They have an inflexible determination that never sways. After being deadly wounded, Izuna still found the strength to warn Madara about the Senjus and again in his deadbed he made Madara promise to watch over the Uchiha clan. His vision (even in the literal way) was strong enough to motivate Madara long after his death. This devoted, balanced personality must be read as a confident desire to protect his people, the Uchiha clan, to the point of self-sacrifice.
Obito demonstrated two times an incredible will. Once as a child when he defended Kakashi's father and swore to destroy an unfair shinobi system, and a second time when he battled against the juubi. He knew he wasn't physically strong enough neither to hold the rinnegan nor contain juubi inside him but by cheer willpower he forced his destiny.
To conclude my guess is that Kishimoto intended Izuna as a warlord, a man of action, just like Madara, with a strong sense of duty and sacrifice for his clan. And the Senju represented to him the epitome of threat for the Uchiha's peace. Izuna pictured peace and harmony related to his clan not the whole world like his brother did (and maybe that's why he had to make him promise to protect the Uchihas first!?). He was probably more extravert, agreeable and also more distant emotionally than Madara. His interaction with his big brother must have been a funniest version to what we've seen with Obito. Just imagining those two uchiha big egos together, they were probably insufferable for their opponents 😂. If you read the manga again it's as if Madara is expecting a back-and-forth banter with Obito...just like Izuna would have done with him in the middle of a battles.😢
That's all I wanted to share on my hypothesis, maybe in future Kishimoto will give us something about Izuna's past and this post will age badly but let me know what you think of this theory?
Madara didn't bring Izuna back with edo tensei nor would the infinite tsukuyomi bring him back so he wasn't trying to save or revive his brother.
I think the idea that Madara went insane because of Izunas death is too narrow a cause. Losing his brother was devastating but the flip was years after. He went insane because he lost everything.
His family, the trust of his clan, his pride, his voice, his desire to live in a world he thought destined for destruction.
The eye of the moon plan wasn't about revenge or righteousness, I think it was Madara's attempt to do a powerful enough right to outweigh his wrongs. Which in his mind, were mountainous.
To fellow Canadians, Happy Family Day!

But Madara would take this by a long shot 💓
"You remind me of him, Uchiha Izuna." ... we are not the same, you won't be able to understand my pain.
*headcanon - sharingan memories, madara, and izuna’s eyes.
A little known canon fact is that Sharingan users who take the eyes of another Sharingan user can recall the recorded memories of the original owner. When Sasuke took Itachi’s eyes, he commented that his brother’s memories were “disgusting and sad”.
So let’s think about Madara. Madara who, nearly blind, took the dying Izuna’s eyes on his request. Madara who didn’t merely watch his brother receive that fatal wound and die later on, but also got to see everything firsthand as Izuna saw it, who would remember everything that Izuna ever saw with those eyes for the rest of his life.
(You know he absolutely went knee-deep in everything Izuna left behind, even if it hurt him. How does it feel to relive the world through your dead brother’s eyes?)
The Sharingan never forgets. All the memories recorded by them – the original trauma that inspired their manifestation, every battle situation that necessitated their use, every kill made with the Sharingan on… is remembered in perfect detail. Every. Single. Thing.
No wonder the Uchiha have a reputation for going nutty. These are killers under extreme stress and they can’t even forget the worst of their memories? Fucking hell.
On the other hand, this makes me wonder if their infamous “deep love” is caused by this. I personally headcanon that the Uchiha record good memories (to offset the bad) and some of them use it to commit details of their loved ones. What must that be like? To remember everything about someone you love, to never forget their face, to see them so clearly that not even a lifetime will wipe their memory away? What is it like to remember them even when they are gone?
Maybe the Uchiha don’t let go, not because of sheer bloody-mindedness, but because they physically can’t.
This is now my headcanon too. I'm dead xD
While I’m throwing random Naruto hcs to the winds:
Uchiha were actually incredibly expressive by their own standards, but a side effect of being a clan of people with Super Detail Vision means that even those without the sharingan or with the sharingan not *on* means that they don’t need to move their faces much to convey a lot. Which was why to outsiders they looked so stiff and stoic for the most part. Because why bother doing large expressions when all your loved ones can see how overjoyed you are with just a tiny smile and the deepening of the laugh lines around your eyes?
This trait also makes them truly scary during police investigations because if you have *any* physical tell that you are lying, they *will* see it and use it to their advantage, with or without their sharingan on. These people are so detail oriented by default it’s insane. They also can have the Book literally memorized and ready to quote chapter and verse at you down to the grammar because their brains have evolved over generations to naturally memorize and rapidly process and catalogue information to compensate for said Super Vision.
This means, by extension, that Uchiha like Obito and Shisui who register to outsiders as the “normally expressive ones” are actually the Uchiha equivalent of Might Gai running down the street screaming loudly about Emotions and Youth.
That or Shisui is not actually that expressive by default (tho we know Obito is) and he just learned how to do that because he realized it made people more willing to talk to him and also it makes his relatives twitch in the Uchiha version of screaming “MY EYES” and he finds that really funny.
the Mikasa Uchiha sketches no one asked for
