Couldn't sleep last night, so, Ta-da! I did a little more Evolese
also, yes, this is a Shera screen grab.
Last thing for tonight.
I've been working on fleshing out Abbigail's Warband of "failed" experiments from Fabius.
Can u tell which one I liked the most?
If you can't see, her name is Evolese Maw and I love her! She is my first Yeen oc. And here is her mini
She's almost done. I just started painting her today.
Unfortunately, I didn't have a 3d printed yeen head. So she has to wear a helmet.🥺
Also, here is another older piece for your patience. My favourite m4m gay warhammer couple (sorry, Trazyn and Orikan)
It gives such strong Pandemonium (The "capital/Main court" of hell acording to old Christian lore) vibes!!!
Which makes total sense as it was probably what they were referencing. I've always liked WH30k/40k twisted parallels to Catholicism/Christianity, and this is a great subtle nod to it.
Astartes II
Me, re-reading novels about genocidal batshit crazy transhuman war criminals for the nth time, because it helps me take my mind off reality for at least a couple of hours:
I remembered some funny (in a bad way) things that ppl constantly wrote in r/40kLore, when I still used my Reddit account. This community has always been a treasure trove of cringe.
BEHOLD, THE OVERUSED DISCUSSION, EVERYONE IS SO TIRED OF: "DO THE SPACE MARINES HAVE SEX?"
Not only these guys brought up this topic every month, but they typed such idiotic things that I wanted to hit my head on the table.
My favorites:
1) "Space Marines don't have balls/genitals, they're basically smooth Ken dolls."
By the Dark Gods, where did they even get that from... And who then are their smooth Barbies?!
2) "They're sterile, so they can't have sex."
I think I studied some wrong things in medical university for 5 years. How can you confuse "sterile" with "impotent"? "Sterile" men can't have children - not sex! And yes, Astartes are canonically unable to conceive.
3) "Even Slaaneshi CSMs are not interested in sex, only in killing and torture."
Lots of excerpts from various novels and other lore bits where they're described having sex/relationship with each other, daemons and their slaves - are we a joke to you? Or do these guys need detailed E-rated scenes to understand it?
The self-proclaimed lore messiahs also love to say: "Slaanesh is not about sex! Stop constantly talking about it!"
The joke is - I almost never saw anyone who would say that, but, again, this topic was brought up constantly. Basically purists' neuron activation posts.
Damn, Slaanesh IS about sex AND other things (torture, art, music: excesses and hedonism in everything) too! But some people outright try to exclude this specific aspect when it's absolutely wrong. Because "no s*x in my Christian incel fantasy, no-no, sir!"
One person typed that Kasperos Telmar, aka The Radiant King, had "harem" of daemon "courtesans" and mentioned his "lovers".
This is where I died: some prude answered this person that "it was not specified that The Radiant did anything sexual with them!"
OF COURSE, YOU DO NOTHING SEXUAL WITH YOUR HAREM OF HOT BOVINE-CRUSTACEAN-WOMEN! THEY WERE JUST PLAYING REGICIDE UNDER THE BLANKET! EVERY CHAOS LORD DOES IT, WDYM?
Ah yes being extra enough to shove the tzangor out of your way just so you can point to have him then have to go around you classic thousand sons
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2
here's some more 40k stuff because I didn't realize i liked it that much. the helmet was my attempt to make a primaris style mouth plate for chaos because i didn't realize that already existed.
A Maulerfiend i just finished. I'm slowly making progress on getting 2000pts for my Chaos Space Marines army
Daemon Primarch Lorgar of the Word Bearers
A golden giant clad in unholy scriptures and occult artefacts, He is the word of the ruinous powers, a walking cathedral to daemonic warp, and the high priest of chaos.
Silly page that started out as warmup doodles assembled over time. Chaos unleashed!
Updated Haladroth refsheet along with Villosk, his second-in-command, court sorcerer, ritual master, and sassy wizard rolled into one.
While Villosk definitely fits the bill of a traitorous right hand man, he has no real intention of betraying Haladroth. After around 2,000 years of being at Haladroth’s side and relying on him to maintain a comfy lifestyle, Villosk would rather not risk it all for a power grab. Still, he never stops being exasperated and annoyed with his lord’s impulsive desires and indulgences, but not enough to raise a hand against him.
Guys. This is my favorite legion, so I'm going to be very upset if I've misremembered this. Lorgar isn't white, right? I've never seen any art of him white, nor heard him described as such. But I'm currently reading a collection of 3 books about the word bearers, and it describes him and all his sons as having pale skin.
AM I LOSING MY MIND??
Death Guard Ocs for a future comic!
Favorite Death Guard artworks.
This art is literally what I wish the Thousand Sons looked like: esoteric and strangely beautiful

The year of chaos will be a complete failure unless we get a model of this
Seriously, I love the baby harness
That moment when your warband's ship has a comically large amount of nurglings randomly finding their way onto it and one of them gets so overly attached to you that he WILL start crying when he is separated from you
Little rushed doodle of Proteus from my DG warband, a quiet guy who has basically become the nanny for the nurglings on their ship :)
Nurgle Marine by Váradi Paszkál
Favorite part of the Horus heresy is when Erebus Musk established DOGE and cut funding to the Mechanicum
This is proof that we need more bugs in the Death Guard because this shit ROCKS
bug (for @leftsharkhypocrite)
Maybe it's just the people I follow, but I feel like the Emperor's Children community on Tumblr has a bit of a woobification issue. I wasn't sure how to describe it, but that word fits.
Lucius is a pretty neat character--compared to the other Chaos Champions, he didn't have that big a role in his legion's fall to Chaos--he was even slated to die alongside the Loyalists on Istvaan III. He still became Slaanesh's champion. He has, through his personality and abilities, pleased Slaanesh far more than Eidolon, who practically orchestrated the Legion's entire fall, and I don't think people talk about it enough.
He doesn't "win by losing", he wins when he loses. He's a damn good fighter, and he's been doing it for ten millennia. If he was bad, there'd be so many faces on his armor that you wouldn't even be able to make them out.
Those faces also serve to torment him. As someone else pointed out, "every one of those faces is a reminder that the fact that he's alive means he's been beat". And it pisses him off, because he's a proud bastard--and he damn well should be, he's the champion of a Chaos God.
I have reposted the girlfail-post, because it's fun and I got a laugh out of it, but my more earnest opinion is: Lucius is incredibly successful.
Some of his accomplishments without any claim to completeness:
Beating the Mournival in consecutive duels (Loken cheated by Emperor's Children-standards, so fuck him)
He's made Captain in a perfectionist Legion of Aristocrats, despite hailing from gladiatorial pits.
He made Palatine Blade - elite of the elite
He organized a coup against Fulgrim, because he wanted the demon out and survived (by staying mostly out of it, but that shows that he has a brain indeed)
He impressed Slaanesh enough to become his Champion.
He impressed Fulgrim enough the Primarch strongarmed Fabius into reviving Lucius.
He impressed Ahriman enough the Chief Librarian kept him as bodyguard/killer (and didn't betray him - a rare occurance with Ahriman).
He isn't the most social guy, yet he became leader of a rather successful warband.
He killed a Bloodthirster (with the help of his Raptors, but still!)
40k Fulgrim uses him as his personal hitman.
He had fun fighting and killing in Commorragh (he got asked to leave).
And that's just from the top of my head. Lucius is one of the most successful, ruthless Chaos Marines still in existence.
